The Case Western Reserve University Police Department was founded in 2006 with the goal of providing professional police and security services to the campus community, specifically tailored to meet the diverse demands of the student, faculty, staff, and visitor constituencies. Protection of the members of the campus community and the University’s physical assets is the fundamental objective of our department.
Mission Statement:
Through vigorous patrol by the highly trained staff, deploying state of the art technology and a variety of crime prevention services, we hope to reduce criminal opportunity in the campus area and protect the physical assets of the University while reducing the threat of physical harm and emotional distress to members of the community and the public who visit the campus.
